The York

A welcome is something you can be sure of at The York.

A lively pub near the sea with Hotel, Restaurant and Function Suite. We are well known for our Entertainment with Quiz Nights every Thursday and Live music themed nights and Karaoke every weekend. We cater for a mixed age group and you’ll find a friendly atmosphere and lots of fun and great beer. Food is available each day from 12 noon until 9pm, with a varied menu either cooked to order or from our Specials food servery. Every Sunday we serve our ‘Proper Job’ Carvery and is well known for its home cooked appeal.

We also have 12 bedrooms, all en-suite in our hotel with a mixture of single, twin, double and triple rooms. The York is situated in the Main Street and is a 2-minute walk from the sea, harbour, West Somerset Steam Railway and Butlins entertainment resort. Minehead is ideally situated and is known as The Gateway to Exmoor, and is an ideal base for sightseeing the local villages, moorland and attractions.
